Questions
Who owns the contacts?
Your company. Everything your people save in Syndeya on the company account belongs to the company and stays when someone leaves. Each person sees a notice when they join.
What about contacts from people's own phones?
Contacts someone brings in from their phone's address book are copies used for their reminders. They aren't added to the company's shared contacts, and the originals never leave their phone.
What happens when someone leaves?
A manager removes them in one step: their contacts go to a colleague you choose, and their card is wiped or handed to the new hire without being re-tapped.
Do people need to sign in with their work email?
No. They can sign in with any Google or Apple account and join with the one-time code you give them.
What happens when the trial ends?
Everyone already on your team keeps working. To add more people, choose a plan in Billing. If you choose a plan during the trial, you're not charged until it ends.
Can we cancel?
Yes, any time under Billing › Manage billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the year you've paid for.
Where is our data stored, and do you sign a DPA?
Data is stored in the United States on Google Cloud. Our Data Processing Agreement, including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, applies to every company account automatically.
